In June of 1962, a group of faithful, prayerful people gathered to worship as a mission of St. John Vianney at Conway Elementary School. By 1965 Archbishop Hurley had approved the name "Blessed Trinity" for our new parish.
 

Fr. John Caulfield became pastor in August 1966, and at noon on Trinity Sunday of 1967 (see above) he turned the first shovel of earth for the first church. On Christmas Eve of that same year he celebrated Eucharist in the new church for the first time. The first Blessed Trinity Church, a multi-use building, was formally dedicated on May 12, 1968. Since then, our history has been one of growth in numbers and ministries. We are eternally indebted to those early parishioners for their commitment. Their personal sacrifice made possible the building up of God's kingdom among us here in our parish in the Conway area of Orlando.

 

Like our founders, we have many challenges to meet and many gifts to share. We have four Sunday Masses and a Saturday evening Vigil Mass, and over 50 ministries and organizations.
 

Parish team and staff, both cleric and lay, work with hundreds of volunteers to meet the needs of our parishioners and many others who seek our help. Our growth has been remarkable, and indeed, we continue to grow. Our brand new church, dedicated by Bishop Wenski on December 17, 2005, and our soon-to-be-refurbished Education Building and Great Hall will help us to accommodate better our religious education classes, ministries, social functions and meetings.
